| Hydrofluoric Acid Safety Protocol |
The Nanofabrication Facility cleanroom and Roberts Hall 208 are particularly hazardous substance (PHS) designated areas for hydrofluoric acid (HF). Everyone entering the lab should be familiar with the hazards associated with HF and know what to do in case of an emergency. Anyone wishing to use HF in the Nanofab must first receive training from the staff and complete the Protocol form. Storage and handling procedures specific to the Nanofab are contained in this protocol.
